In it’s design phase, the narrow block sandwiched between four homes provided an opportunity for the owners to completely flip the orientation of the existing home. With a unique setting between two roads, the owners could see the benefits of a rear seperate garage with street access. While the front of the home presents its own heritage period features and welcoming entry, the contemporary design of the rear allows for a step down into the Living areas, with high ceilings and a warm family friendly space plus a direct connection to the outdoor area.
